I personally am a huge fan of hummus in any and all forms. It’s most well known in its savory form, and it’s used as a dip for veggies and chips or spread on pita bread. It is delicious and even somewhat exotic to some. I love it as a snack – especially in the evenings.
This chocolate hummus may seem a little at odds with what you may think you know about hummus. Like my Mint Chocolate Chip Avocado Ice Cream, it is a little strange to think about. But the end result is so delicious that it’s hard to argue with it once you taste the creamy and delicious product.
Even my picky kids love to dip strawberries and apple slices in it and gobble it down as an after school snack.
It’s a must have recipe to have in your arsenal. It takes very little time to make (less than 5 minutes), and it hits the spot when you’re craving something sweet. It’s healthier than Nutella but hits a lot of the same notes.
You can even make a big batch and take it to parties along with some cut up fruit on a tray. It looks amazing and will impress.
