Sharing is caring!

Chocolate hummus is a delicious and healthy snack that can be enjoyed by everyone. It is made with chickpeas, tahini, cocoa powder, and other healthy ingredients, and can be eaten with anything from fruits to graham crackers. Chocolate hummus is also vegan and keto-friendly.

Best of all, it is very easy to make at home and can be stored in the fridge for up to a week. So what are you waiting for? Give chocolate hummus a try today!

I personally am a huge fan of hummus in any and all forms. It’s most well known in its savory form, and it’s used as a dip for veggies and chips or spread on pita bread. It is delicious and even somewhat exotic to some. I love it as a snack – especially in the evenings.

This chocolate hummus may seem a little at odds with what you may think you know about hummus. Like my Mint Chocolate Chip Avocado Ice Cream, it is a little strange to think about. But the end result is so delicious that it’s hard to argue with it once you taste the creamy and delicious product.

Even my picky kids love to dip strawberries and apple slices in it and gobble it down as an after school snack.

It’s a must have recipe to have in your arsenal. It takes very little time to make (less than 5 minutes), and it hits the spot when you’re craving something sweet. It’s healthier than Nutella but hits a lot of the same notes.

You can even make a big batch and take it to parties along with some cut up fruit on a tray. It looks amazing and will impress.

Is chocolate hummus healthy?

Chocolate hummus is a healthy snack option for those looking for something sweet and nutritious. While it is higher in sugar than traditional hummus, chocolate hummus is still a healthier option than many other sweet snacks like candy or cake.

What do you eat with chocolate hummus?

Is chocolate hummus actually hummus?

There is some debate over whether chocolate hummus actually qualifies as hummus. While it does contain many of the same ingredients as traditional hummus, such as chickpeas and tahini, the addition of cocoa powder and other sweeteners means that chocolate hummus is sweeter and richer than its savory counterpart. However, chocolate lovers need not worry – this delicious snack is still technically hummus!

Is chocolate hummus sweet?

While chocolate hummus does not taste exactly like chocolate, it is a very sweet snack. This is due to the addition of cocoa powder and other sweeteners, such as honey or dates. If you are looking for a less sweet option, you can try using unsweetened cocoa powder or reducing the amount of sweetener in the recipe.

While chocolate hummus is a healthier option than Nutella, it is important to remember that it is still a sweet snack.
