Sharing is caring!

These yummy Sausage, Egg and Cheese Breakfast Biscuit Bombs are perfect for a quick and easy breakfast on the go! They’re made with just a few simple ingredients, and they’re so simple to make. Plus, they’re absolutely delicious!

What’s great about these scrumptious little breakfast poppers is that they are filled with a mixture of breakfast staples that everyone loves. The mixture of sausage, egg and cheese are sure to fill you up and keep you energized all morning long, and the biscuit casing is the perfect way to bring it all together. Hot or cold, these can be taken with you wherever you go for a quick bite any time of day.

These are a great one for the kids to help out with, as well, as there’s nothing too complicated. Fry up the sausage and eggs, then let the children put them all together. They’ll love the feeling of accomplishment that comes with making food for the family.

These are also great for picnics, lunchboxes and after school snacks. Make a whole bunch and freeze them in packs of 2, 4 or 6 for easy breakfasts each week. If you do, I highly suggest putting them in a toaster oven for a couple of minutes rather than simply microwaving so they don’t get soggy. Just don’t overdo it!

This truly is a very simple recipe with very little work. You’ll need very few ingredients, and it won’t take much time.

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 ct) can Grands biscuits
  • 1 package Jimmy Dean ground sausage
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese
  • Parsley

Directions:

Begin by preheating your oven to 325° F. Then break up and cook your sausage in a skillet, making sure to drain the fat. Set aside.

Scramble your eggs, making sure to season with salt and pepper to taste. You’ll want them firm, but not hard.

Roll out the biscuits with a rolling pin in order to flatten them down. The flatter you can get them, the better, but be aware that they can get very sticky. Try and keep them in the fridge right up until you are ready for them to keep them from sticking to your countertop!

Once the biscuits are flat, add a spoonful each of sausage, egg and cheese to the centers of each one.

Working quickly and carefully, lift up the sides of each biscuit, bringing them into the center to close around the filling. Form into a ball, ensuring the seams are closed so that no filling will escape.

Place the balls seam side down in a 9 x 11 baking dish, then top with shredded cheese and parsley.

Bake in a 325° oven for 30 minutes. Then remove and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

How gorgeous is that? Served hot, these become an ooey-gooey masterpiece of a breakfast treat. They are a savory succulent that will knock your socks off.

Served cold, they are just as delicious. You’ll be amazed how good they are straight from the fridge as a late night snack or a quick lunch served with salad or some fresh crudités.

These breakfast bombs are an explosion of flavor, and you’re going to want them in your arsenal for sure.
